I just can’t believe what happened to me today. I was on my way back from shopping for my soon to be born son when on the way the fuel in my car got finished. I was so scared staying with the car in the middle of the road, that I called my husband and started crying. Thankfully he reminded of the bottle of emergency fuel he normally keeps in car. I checked the back of the car and there it was. I asked him why he kept fuel separately in the car, he said that it was a habit he picked in college when he always used to run out of cash. That’s all and I was back driving again.
I think being pregnant is actually changing me; I tend to forget things a lot now. I guess I should get some beauty treatment to relax myself. But the problem with getting beauty treatments during pregnancy is that saloons generally don’t have products that are safe to be used during pregnancy. That’s right, cream and lotions that we regularly use might not make sudden effects, but in the long run, little by little they do affect our body and can affect the growth of the baby inside.
One of the biggest dilemmas for pregnant women who are also fighting wrinkles is whether or not to use the anti-ageing creams. The problem with anti-ageing creams is that once you start using them, then even if you don’t use them for a day you will see a drastic difference on your face. I am not sure if the manufacturers add something to the cream to make it to behave like that or if it’s just the skin. Retinoid, a precursor of vitamin A, is found in anti-ageing cream which can be very damaging for the baby. In fact it is so bad that if you get a dose of it orally, then your baby might have birth defect. So make sure that you confirm that the cosmetic product you use during pregnancy is also safe for your baby.
